~ A gin or vodka Martini‘s clean, crisp nature offers a refreshing contrast.
~ The spiciness of ginger beer, mixed with dark rum in Dark and Stormy, helps mesh out this cheese’s rich and varied flavors, especially the caramel notes of the Gouda.

Wine: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet, Pinot Noir

~ A medium-bodied Pinot Noir, known for its red fruit flavors and earthy undertones, plays well with the nuttiness of the cheese.

Beer: IPA, Oatmeal Stout, Brown Ale, Pilsner, Saison
~ IPA‘s hoppy bitterness cuts through the cheese’s richness, and the citrus-pine notes contrast nicely with the cheese’s savory flavors. ~ The creamy, roasted malt flavors in an Oatmeal Stout complement the cheese’s creamy texture.
~ Brown Ale, with its caramel and nutty notes, mirrors the nuttiness of the cheese blend to harmonize nicely.
~ Pilsner offers a crisp and light profile with a hint of bitterness, contrasting with this decadent cheese.
~ Saison
provides a refreshing counterpoint to the cheese’s richness with its light body, effervescence, and peppery or citrusy notes.

Accompaniments: bread, fruits, nuts, jam, honey, cured meats, pickled vegetables

This is amazingly good! I put a sliver on my tongue and rather than chewing, let it sort of melt to get full flavor. Mmm-mmm good!!

We received Terrific Trio as a gift, and found it to be our favorite cheese with red wine. Once it ran out, we planned a January getaway to Door County just to pick up more! Fantastic flavors!
